FAQ - About The Show
Q: What can everyone expect from the Robert Thomas Hypnotist show?
“I want everybody to have fun. I don't want people leaving the stage deadly embarrassed.”
Q: How do your subjects feel after the show?
“Hypnosis is a state of complete relaxation. Generally speaking, after one hour of hypnosis, a subject would feel as though he or she has had up to four hours of rest!”
Q: Do your subjects remember what happened during the show?
“ABSOLUTELY! I want them to know that they had a great time, and that they weren’t humiliated on stage. Like I said, I want EVERYONE to have a good time. I like to call the chairs on stage the best seats in the house!...In fact I have you remember everything that occurred during the evening (while standing next to me), thus ensuring my “safe exit from the building”….hey, I’m a small guy, and don’t want to get hurt :) .
Q: Under hypnosis, during your show, will you MAKE me do something that I will regret?
Quite simply put...the answer is NO. Under hypnosis, everything is a suggestion. As such you still have the ability to reject said suggestion, should it go against your personal set of values and morals.
Q: Have you ever been hypnotized before? Has the experience affected your show?
I know the difference between a good show and a bad show. I've been on stage myself (as a hypnotist's subject) and I've walked off feeling bad , and I've been in so many others where I left laughing so hard I could cry. I strive to have everyone feeling fantastic when all is said and done. The goal is for both the subjects and the audience to have an amazing time.
Q: Is all this hypnosis real or is everyone just faking it?
I do a demonstration at the end of the show that shows the incredible power of the mind. I won't tell you what that demonstration is, exactly. You'll just have to come and see for yourself! Trust me. It'll blow your mind!
A very “stiff” willed subject.
